Our Infrastructure

Jashn Foods, a leading manufacturer, supplier, and exporter is backed by a well-equipped infrastructure. Our network of farmers and distributors (including domestic and overseas) enables us to procure, process, and distribute premium basmati and non-basmati rice across the world.

To ensure the premium quality, we have a dedicated team of experts and lab assistants. They follow strict quality controls by checking the rice grains for moisture, length, temperature, and other parameters. 

Storage : Storage of the paddy is done at a particular moisture level in all the three storage modes.

Our infrastructure features:

Parboiling unit 

Jashn Foods has an advanced unit for soaking and steaming the raw paddy to prepare it for processing and milling. Parboiling refers to the hydrothermal process under which paddy is soaked and steamed give it a firmer, non-sticky, and nutrients-filled form. 

Our advanced soaking and steaming unit have sensors that control the temperature to ensure the natural flavours are intact. 

Drying plant 

To reduce the excess moisture in the paddy, the parboiled paddy is treated under a temperature-controlled drying unit. To ensure proper drying, our plant is equipped with an automatic drying system, featuring smart sensors for temperature control and a slow drying process. This helps us dry 40-50 tons of paddy every hour. The smart system with controlled temperature ensures suitable conditions and no damage to the micronutrients during the drying process.

Not only this, but our unit is also well-equipped to repel fungal infection or bacterial infection, ensuring natural flavours remain intact.

Modern processing and milling unit

We have a well-equipped processing and milling unit located in Karnal, Haryana. Once we procure the paddy from indigenous farmers through our widespread networks and parboil it, we send it to our processing unit. 

Our milling unit, comprising Magnets, Paddy Separators, Graders, De-Huskers, De-Stoners, Precision Sizers, Pre-Cleaners, and more, prepares the paddy for the final processing. Under the milling process, outer husks and brans are removed to manufacture premium basmati rice.

We process it and then make it suitable for consumption.

Storage and packaging 

We have a high-tech storage facility with a capacity of 25,000 MT. This facility allows us to provide a seamless supply. Our packaging unit ensures on-brand basmati rice packaging for seamless brand recognition.

The Basic Processes of Rice Milling Are
Pre-Cleaning--step1 Step 1
Pre-Cleaning

It takes care of impurities by removing them from procured paddy.

ParBoiling -step2 Step 2
Parboiling

Parboils the paddy to gelantise the starch and keep the nutritional value intact.

Destoner -step3 Step 3
De-Stone

This process removes tiny stones from the paddy using a de-stoner machine.

Husking

This process removes the outer layer (husk) from the paddy.

Paddy Separation

Paddy is separated from husk for further processing.

Whitening

The unhusked paddy is whitened by removing the brown layer.

Polishing

Polishing further removes the remained husk and makes it white.

Rice Cleaning

After polishing, rice is cleaned again for further processing.

Sorting

Cleaned rice is sorted and further impurities, broken grains are removed.
