After that, soak it for about 30-60 minutes.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>After soaking, drain and keep it aside.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Now, add the drained basmati rice to an instant pot or electric pressure cooker. Add water, ghee, and salt as required.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set it to manual pressure mode on high-pressure for about four minutes. After that, let the pressure release naturally. Once it\u2019s done, you can manually release the remaining pressure.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fluff the rice using a fork and let it stand for a few minutes before serving hot.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Skip_the_soaking_part_if_youre_short_on_time\"><\/span><strong>Skip the soaking part if you\u2019re short on time<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are in a hurry, you can skip the soaking part. But be sure to rinse the basmati rice well before cooking.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Skipping the soaking part may result in broken and sticky grains. But that\u2019s not a big deal.
